Product Selection and Comparisons
STEP 1: From the left hand navigation panel, select the type of scale you're looking for. This will reduce the choices you see and provide additional search criteria relevant to that product category.
STEP 2: Select functionality that is important to your operation, or alternatively use the "Compare" function to easily assess the differences between models.
Recommended Criteria for Scale Selection
When selecting a Weighing Scale we recommend you consider the following specifications.
Capacity. This is the upper limit the scale can accurately and safely weigh to. What is the heaviest weight you'll need the scale to weigh up to?
Graduation. The degrees a scale will weigh by. What weight value of increases or decreases do you want to measure?
Platform Size. The width and depth of the scale platform which is where you place goods to be weighed. Typically, goods should not exceed the platform size. If they will, please consult your local Wedderburn team for advice on how this may affect weighing accuracy.
Environment Suitability. Not all weighing equipment is suited to wet or harsh environments. Please use the "Environment Suitability" filter to help your selection, or alternatively talk with your local Wedderburn team for advice.
Legal for Trade Use. When trading by weight in New Zealand it is a legal requirement to have an approved scale that carries a mark of verification.
